ABOUT - ADRIAN WARD
Adrian is an award-winning silversmith with over three decades international experience, having worked in Australia for Renown Silverware, maker of some of Australia's premier sporting trophies; in Finland for Kultakeskus Oy, at the time the largest producer of Silverware in Northern Europe; and in the UK for Richard Fox, a leading designer/maker responsible for many iconic trophies.
His education includes an Associate Diploma of Arts (Jewellery Design) from Sydney University of Technology (1993), an apprenticeship as a silversmith completed in 1998 and in 2020 he graduated from The Royal College of Art in London with an MA (Jewellery & Metal).
His awards include a Gold Award for Craft at the Goldsmith's Craft and Design Council awards in London in 2019, as well as many other awards for design and technical innovation. He has also exhibited internationally throughout his career, and is a Freeman of the Goldsmith's Company, one of the 'twelve great livery companies' in London.
He has recently been working as a senior silversmith and CAD designer for Richard Fox alongside an expanding personal experimental and conceptual artistic silversmithing practice.
